Luthi Ranch
Добавлен 25 ноя 2018
In a day and age where the small family farm is disappearing, either selling out to development or being bought up by larger farms. I want to try and show the struggles we go through and the lifestyle we live on our small family farm as we try to keep the operation going and fight to pass it on to the next generation. We are a 6th generation family farm/ranch located in Western Wyoming right along the Idaho border in the beautiful area known as Star Valley. Come follow us along on our journey!

Thanks!
That's great... Speed kills, slow and steady!
👏👏👏👏👏👏
Man your alfalfa looks great. Hope you and the family have been well.
We had been in a drought for over two years in our area with no irrigation. Got lucky and got a little shower, enough to push my grass and got a cutting.
That looks amazing, great to have that good looking hay for your winter feeding.
Really interesting. Thanks.
try pouring the pee from the cow you want to graft to ive had great luck with it
Nice what area is this?
We live in Western Wyoming right along the Idaho border. An area known as Star Valley.
Slicker than owls shit
Oklahoma has been upper 95+ a few days a 100 + , we just hot and muggy
No thanks haha. I have a hard time with the heat.
@@LuthiRanchWY so do I after I had my heart attack, my grass in my backyard is 3' tall , too hot for me to get outside and mow the yard,
Very good instruction. Thank you
Good luck baling and raking your hay Bryan
Great job raking Bryan
Great video Bryan
Thanks!
Thanks for the video man!
very clever !
Great to see you again!
I’m glad to get a few more videos out the last couple weeks.
You did well to get all that done before the rain. Good it came late or it wood have ruined your hay day.
Would lol
We got really lucky with the weather that day. It’s always nice when it works out like that.
Cool video I also work for OD and I’ve been right up to Yellowstone national park so not too far from Teton, man they work us to the bone here, usually I’m pulling doubles with 15-20 stops with about 180 miles in a day. But I do love working for them.
Those sound like some big days. Luckily we don’t have too many days like that over here.
Gorgeous hay and gorgeous country. One day I'll make it out west.
We are lucky to live where we do.
Your machines are pretty amazing in what they do.
I enjoyed it. Great video.
Thank you!
Good video Driver! I work P&D for ODFL out of Jax. I'm coming into year 20 with the company. Be safe out there driving!!
Thanks! You too. I’ve been happy here. OD has been good to me so far.
That was truly Racing against mother Nature 👍🏻 Thanks for sharing Bryan ✌🏻
You are welcome!
Great video, love the content.
Thanks! Glad you liked it.

Mother Nature sure doesn't give you a break! Good update Bryan! Good work!
It’s been tough haying weather lately. It’s nice to get the moisture though.
Enjoyed the video. Nice hay crop and beautiful rainbow!
Thanks!
Send some of the rain to SW Texas. We're still in the 100's
I couldn’t handle that heat. We’ve turned off pretty wet this August.
You're a good man.
I hope to be
When the cows milk goes thru the calf, the cow will accept the calf
That would make sense
Thanks again. A lot of work What was it like Before the side by side ?? Walk more !! Be safe .
Haha that side by side has been a great investment. We haven’t regretted buying it even for one day.
Awesome 💯💯💯
Thankyou😊😊😊
Such a busy man but I do enjoy your videos. You’re a jack of all trades.
Glad to hear you enjoy them! Thanks for the comment!
Ah, the indignation of a small child observing someone (or something) else get in Trouble. XD So glad to see you again! Hope y'all're staying more hydrated than that ridge is!
Haha he knew those horses were in trouble.
Well done Bryan You and farmer tyler ranch are amazing. So glad ur able to post again. Farming w your young son is so precious. Thank you for bringing us along. All the camera work n editing much appreciated.
Thanks for the comment! I’m glad I was finally able to get a video out.
U have a beautiful farm
I try to remind myself all the time how beautiful it is around here.
Your resourcefulness is admirable too, how you make things work with what you have. Repurposing, fabricating, ect..
Thank you!
Wow, 12,000 subscribers. Congratulations. I watch them all. it's all interesting to me and I'm not a Farmer or Rancher. Just a Grocery store stocker. The scenery really catches my eye the most, and like watching the dogs and how your son is becoming involved. The Hay crop is interesting too since I have a background in amateur Botany. The Snow season is interesting too.
It has been exciting to watch the channel grow slowly and steadily. I’m glad you find so many things interesting that we do!
Ellis is so cute and so smart- "get that gate" he says after the horses went back in! This old grandma sends him hugs!
He’s a good kid. I hope trying to involve him as much as I can with things will be a benefit to him later on in life.
It most certainky will!
Good to see your post Bryan! Always busy this time of the year for sure. All looks good on Luthi Ranch! Keep the videos coming!
Thanks! I’m glad to finally get another video out. Thanks for being patient with me! Hope all is well with you and your family!
@@LuthiRanchWY Never a problem with posting Bryan, we just look forward to seeing your days/work on Luthi Ranch! Always a good watch!! Be safe and get some rest!
That would be quit easy to make. This is why I was fortunate to have a lathe and a giant supply of steel to rebuild things like this. To save money. Thanks for taking us along on daily farm issues. 👍
I couldn’t believe how much they wanted for those new parts.
You guys dont get much sleep. Nice hay from the slew.
A full night sleep is hard to come by during hay season. It’s always a relief when things slow down.
Mornin , glad to see ya
Afternoon. I enjoyed it too and hope that both Todd and Bryan are doing well. 😂
Thanks guys. Glad to hear from you two!
